This policy explains how DutyGO uses cookies and similar local storage technologies on our website and portal.
DutyGO keeps things deliberately light. We do not use advertising cookies, and we do not use any third-party analytics service. The only storage we use is what is strictly necessary to make the application work:
| Name / type | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|
| Firebase Authentication session | Keeps you signed in to the portal so you do not have to log in on every visit. | Until you sign out. The underlying token refreshes automatically about every hour while you are active. |
| goduty_centreId (local storage) | Remembers which club you last selected, so you do not have to search for it again. | Until you clear your browser storage |
Our pages load fonts and icons from Google Fonts and Cloudflare’s CDN, and the checkout and billing screens load Stripe’s payment library from Stripe. These providers may set technical storage as part of delivering that content and, in Stripe’s case, for fraud prevention. We do not control that storage and we do not use it for tracking. Stripe’s use of it is described in Stripe’s privacy policy.
Under the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations, storage that is strictly necessary to provide a service the user has asked for does not require consent. Everything in the table above falls into that category: without it you could not stay signed in.
If we ever introduce analytics or any other non-essential storage, we will ask for your consent first and update this policy before doing so.
You can clear cookies and local storage at any time through your browser settings. Doing so will sign you out and forget your last selected club.
